Eipert Information Services has been providing engineering, e-commerce, manufacturing, and other types of companies with business and scientific research, intranet development, information needs assessments, database design and library management services since 1998.

Experience

Corporate library. Prior to founding Eipert Information Services, Sue Eipert served as corporate librarian for an international geotechnical engineering and environmental sciences firm. There, as national Director of Library and Information Services, she managed library and research services for offices worldwide and supervised a staff of 4. In addition she developed the company intranet and project web sites. She has been involved with web development and use since the advent of the World Wide Web.

Teaching and training. Sue Eipert has taught Business Information Resources to graduate students at the University of Washington Information School and speaks to groups.

Scientific research. Before obtaining a Masters of Library and Information Science degree, Sue Eipert earned a Ph.D. in microbiology and spent two years doing postdoctoral laboratory research on the ultrastructure of bacteria.
